It was super easy to set up and works immediately when water is sent through it. It was just a little awkward to blur in just because of the angle of my shower head but some slight adjustment made it an easy fit. Once water starts warming up it will go from blue to green and get around a good temperature. Overall it seems like good material and I hope it works for me for a long time!! I’m just happy it doesn’t use batteries!

I am a licensed plumber, and I love this device!! It gives me an accurate temperature out of the shower head! So much easier than holding a thermometer on the small spray!! It requires NO BATTERIES!!! Such a great way to prove temperature! It works every time. I bought one for all my coworkers it was so inexpensive!

Very nice to know the temp. Of the water before stepping in the shower. Kees you from constantly sticking your hand in the shower flow to see if it cold/to hot etc. Easy install on the shower outlet pipe.

I actually bought this thermometer for a different purpose than intended, and it ended up working perfectly. I have a 240-gallon aquarium, and when I refill it I usually use my kitchen sink so I can control the water temperature. The problem is that I have a tankless water heater, so the temperature tends to fluctuate quite a bit while the water is running. Before this, I had to constantly stop and recheck the temperature with one of those forehead thermometers every few minutes. When I saw this thermometer, I immediately knew it could solve that problem. With a couple of small adapter fittings, I connected it to my kitchen sink and then ran a garden hose from it to refill the tank. Now I can see the temperature in real time as the water flows, which makes it incredibly easy to monitor and adjust the hot/cold mix on the fly. It’s been very accurate, easy to read, and super convenient. Refilling the aquarium is much less stressful now because I can keep the temperature consistent the whole time. If you need a simple way to monitor running water temperature, this works great—even for creative setups like mine!

Yikes. I love knowing the shower water temperature. All my life I’ve been taking hot showers. Then a few weeks ago I read hot water wasn’t healthy for the skin or hair. So I bought and installed this inline thermometer.
