These RFID blocking sleeves appear to work well. My credit cards fit easily into each portable sleeve, and I rest easy knowing the cards are protected from a thief trying to read my cards. The material is possibly aluminum or some other foil. I tried using my sleeved card on several readers (grocery store, gas station, etc) and none of the readers sensed my card. Though it's said passports are protected "to make it difficult" for perps scan it, I think it's good to err on the side of caution and keep it in the RFID sleeve, which also keeps it clean, etc. Passport CARDS -- Like Credit Cards -- AREN'T protected! The differently colored sleeves are perfect, and easy to know which card is in which color. These are Really Good To Have On Hand (ESPECIALLY for the price!) even if you don't travel a lot or leave home with credit cards all the time. There are also enough passport holders to share with someone else!
